SiBox SB 20 safety controller
The SITEMA SiBox SB 20 is the safe external controller for the electric Safety Brake KSE. The customer integrates the SiBox SB 20 and the Safety Brake KSE into a high-level control system (safety PLC). Different performance levels up to PLe according to ISO 13849-1 can be reached.
SITEMA delivers each SiBox with a parametrization. This parameter assignment is an adapted configuration designed especially for the combination of SiBox and Clamping Head to be operated together. The parametrization considers, among other things, the length of the motor cable between SiBox SB 20 and the Clamping Head.

Installation of the SiBox SB 20
The SiBox SB 20 is usually installed on a top hat rail in the control cabinet. Alternatively, an adaptor plate is available to fix the SiBox SB 20 in a different way.
Switch Unit DSM 24 V 01
When installing an electric Safety Brake KSE into a machine, the high-level control system is often not yet available. With the Switch Unit, the Clamping Head can be opened or closed, e.g. to insert or remove the rod. To do so, the Switch Unit will be connected to the SiBox SB 20.
